Every cook on every grill, so the next one's better
GrillIt replaces the paper cook log. Add the grills in your backyard, then log each cook — the meat, the setup, the weather, temperature checks, how long it took, and what you'd do differently next time.
What's inside
Everything the paper log had — without the clipboard
Your grills
Add each grill once — kettle, smoker, pellet, griddle — with its fuel type and usual brand. Drag them into order; the one on top is the default for new cooks. Each grill keeps its own history and total time on the grill.
Prep, Start, Finish
Fill everything in while you prep — no clock running. Tap Start Cook when the meat goes on and Finish Cook when it comes off. GrillIt works out exactly how long it took.
Two-grill cooks
Start on the pellet grill and finish on the kettle or the griddle? Tap Move Now when you switch and GrillIt shows how long it spent on each — handy for learning which grill is slow.
Weather, in one tap
Use Current Weather fills in the air temperature, wind, humidity and sky for where you're standing — the things that quietly change how a cook goes.
Temperature log
Log grill and meat temps as you go — from an iChef probe or an instant-read — with a quick note: wrapped, added fuel, spritzed. Each check shows how far into the cook it was.
Share with a friend
Send any cook as a clean one-page PDF — photo, times, temps, weather and your notes. Friends with GrillIt can open it right into their Other Cooks tab. Nothing is ever shared unless you tap Share.
Find any cook
Search by meat, rub, wood or notes, or filter by grill and by meat — every ribeye on the RecTeq in one tap — as your cooks pile up.
Rate it, then do it better
Score each cook from 1 to 10 stars, note how it turned out, and write notes for next time. Cook This Again copies the whole setup and shows you last time's notes right at the top.
How it works
Set up your grills once, log every cook after
Add your grills
Name each one, pick its type and fuel. Put your go-to grill at the top so new cooks start on it.
Log the cook while you prep
Meat, weight or count, rub, sauce, target temps, fuel, smoke wood, thermometer, the weather, and a photo or two.
Start, check, finish
Tap Start when it goes on, log temps as you go, Move if you switch grills, and Finish when it comes off. Then rate it and jot what to change.
Your cook log, always with you
GrillIt syncs across your devices via iCloud. No account to create — just the Apple ID you already use. And a one-file backup is a tap away in Settings.
